Nicaragua's Finest? Not Quite

My first pure cigar order was a double order of an 8-cigar Nicaraguan sampler pack from Thompson Cigar.  This one was a mixed bag.

The Decent:  The Sonador was actually more mellow than I was expecting from the description, but a satisfying smoke with a pleasant aftertaste.  Flor de Jalapa was a much stronger smoke than expected with a bit of a bite to it and a long-lasting aftertaste.  The Navarro was alright with a flavor somewhat between the previous two in strength.

The Bad: The Amoroso and Thompson Vintage Especial were disappointing.  They both had rough draws and were tough to keep lit.  What taste I did get was harsh.

While there were 10 or so decent or better smokes in this sampler, it was a disappointment overall.  The price per decent smoke (a little over 2 bucks) is better than what I'd pay at local shop, but better deals can be found online.
